THE LIBERTY BELL
A State House bell that became an iconic American symbol of liberty.
INDEPENDENCE HALL
See where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed. $1 tickets are required and should be reserved well in advance.
CONGRESS HALL
Home to the US Congress from 1790 to 1800. Both Washington and Adams were inaugurated here. No ticket is required, tours are given based on availability.
CARPENTER'S HALL
The meeting place of the First Continental Congress in 1774 and the birthplace of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
THE PRESIDENTIAL HOUSE
America's first Presidential Mansion. Only the foundation remains but an open-air exhibit has been erected above it.
PHILOSOPHICAL HALL
Early members of this scholarly society included Washington, Jefferson, and Hamilton. You can tour the museum in this 230-year-old building.
