Warren County Mama Bears Rock
This past weekend, Leslie Mathews of Bentonville Virginia, launched the latest Chapter of Mom’s for Liberty in Virginia. This new group is based in Warren County. Mom’s for Liberty is a group which was founded in Florida, and they started to combat the woke teachings that were occurring in the classroom. I’ve long been a fan of Quisha King of Duval County Florida, for taking on the woke agenda of school boards, and we applaud the hard work that Mrs. Mathews and her group of Mama Bears will be doing. They’re going to need all of our support, as fighting local bureaucracies and the Teachers Unions (yes sorry to disappoint you leftists but the Virginia Education Association and their local associations in Virginia counties are viable organizations which have done a large amount of damage to our youth over the past few years.
This latest chapter of Mom’s for Liberty is being aided by Colonel John Lundberg of Front Royal, who has been very helpful in getting out information on the schools in Warren County. Did you know, that in Warren County, they’re spending approximately $16,500 per child per year to educate Warren County students? Thanks to John Lundberg, we now know this. And according to Colonel Lundberg, approximately 25% of Warren County children of school age are either educated in private schools or home schooled. And yet, while the number of students in Warren County schools is continuing to decrease or maintain the current number, are asking for more and more tax dollars. Makes no sense.
These Mama Bears, along with Papa Bear John Lundberg, are going to help Melanie Salins and other movement conservatives take back our schools from the educationists who want to make schools all about the bureaucracy, and not about our kids. For more read this from the Royal Examiner:
