Our School District
Oconee County Schools is in Northeast Georgia, about an hour east of Atlanta, just below Athens, where the University of Georgia is located.
We have approximately 8,376 students in our 11 school district: 1 Primary, 6 Elementary, 2 Middle, and 2 High Schools.
For the 2020-21 academic year, Oconee County Schools was ranked:

About Us
We are Moms, Dads, Grands, Aunts, Uncles, Friends
Moms for Liberty - Oconee County, GA welcomes all that have a desire to stand up for parental rights at all levels of government. Although we are focused on Oconee County, specifically, we would be happy to mentor another county in Georgia to help them get started. Come visit one of our monthly meetings - typically held at the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce, 55 Nancy Drive, Watkinsville, GA, on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Our Executive Board consists of Julie Mauck, Chapter Chair; Heather Wallace, Chapter Vice Chair; Ginger Redwine, Chapter Secretary; Jenny Major, Chapter Chaplain. We all either have now or have had children in the Oconee County Schools system, and while we have a good working relationship with our local legislators and Board of Education, we feel that it's important to keep a watchful eye out and be in communication with them to keep our rights as parents in the forefront. These are, indeed, "times that try mom's souls."
